Over the last 15 years, Bob Adwar helped organize more than 300 outdoor adventures for wounded war Veterans and others with severe injuries including pheasant, duck and big game hunts and fly fishing outings. Adwar began his involvement working with patients and alumni of Craig Hospital—one of the best in the country for treating spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). During his service on the Board of Directors for Safari Club, he expanded these outings to include wounded Veterans from Operation TBI Freedom and Freedom Hunters. He also served on their advisory committees.
Task Force: ISO engages and inspires Veterans through photography. Veterans gain purpose through activity and self-discovery and build community through continued mentorship and support.
